What a lovely song, Hab!
I wouldn't big it up, works perfectly as it is, doesn't really need more IMO.
A guitar and a voice, that's all you need.

Only thing I would change maybe - but that's more a matter of personal sound taste - is switch the Spanish (nylon) guitar for a folk (dreadnought) one.
But that's just because I've never quite liked the solo sound of a classical guitar.

Fav line: I've been expecting you, shaken not stirred
Very clever intertextuality  :)

Glad to hear about your mom as well!
Hope the final tests also turn out ok.

Yep, getting some great bond-esque feeling here, too!

Brilliant vocals once again, with lots of beautiful and unexpected melody twists.

Wait a second... did you just post a song in 4/4  ?  ;D Great to see you managed to ignore the 3/4 factory setting of yours, and you did a great job at it too!

I kind of like the bond references, but I think it's more the melody than those allusions that make this a "Bond song".

Thanks for making me part of the villain btw, we shall rule the world with an iron fist... uhm, wait... those bond villains never really live to see the credits, do they ?  ;D

I do think this might work in a typical bond-song style orchestral production, but personally I wouldn't add anything cause it's great as it is!

Haha, I didn't even notice, I just did it..

Maybe it's that fact that it's strummed and not finger picked.

The less I think, the better the song tends to be..  :D

Thanks for the comments Michael and Stephanie.

btw. Stephanie, I feel the opposite re. the guitar sound, I find the steel strings are not as warm and can sound quite jangly. It's nylon for me.. all the way :) Each to their own though and thanks for the input, like you say, it's a taste thing. :)
