Hey everyone,  :)

I've had a bit of spare time and decided to write another song,
Alot of the people i know always say i write depressing songs.
I don't mean to it just seems to come out that way lol ;D
Anyway i have tried to make a happy love song  :)

Its about a guy who is really in love with his wife and hes happy with her and cant believe he got to marry her,

I know its very short but I hope you'll still like it. :)

The Girl Everybody Knows

She’s the girl everybody knows,
she’s looks as stunning as an English rose,
She looks beautiful from her head to her toes,
But how I got to marry her nobody knows.

But
What she wants, Is what she gets,
As she lies there with no regrets,
But how could I disapprove,
when she always gets me In the mood
for love,

No one’s ever understood me,
She’s the only one who could,
No one ever listens to me,
She’s the only one who would,

She’s the kind of girl,
Who’ll love you until the end of time,
And no matter what mountains she has to climb,
I know she’ll always be there,

But
What she wants, Is what she gets,
As she lies there with no regrets,
But how could I disapprove,
when she always gets me In the mood
for love,

I really like this! Good work! I think that acoustic guitar would work really nicely with this.

It's good, simple and easy to imagine in a song. I don't think the length of the song matters, it works as it is. Honestly, I think it seems a bit cliche, but if this were put to music I don't think it would matter.

Simplicity can work at other times it can't and in this case I think it worked a treat. The sentiment behind the song is clear and I love the way the rhyming scheme changes as do verse lengths. It flows really well and I love the chorus (I think its the chorus the verse with 'What she wants' at the start of it) it makes me want to find this girl and marry her myself (although that would lower the tone and you would have to write a depressing song!) You aimed for a happy love song and let me tell you after reading it it certainly cheered me up tonight. I concur with the other poster who said the acoustic guitar would go well a la a certain Ed Sheran me thinks ;)

Hi Sing4me88,

Your correct the "what she wants" part of the lyrics is the chorus.
Glad it cheered you up and thanks for your feedback  :).

Just needs a bit more going on and it would make a nice tune.
