I do like it, it's sweet and innocent, but I think it's a bit too cliche, I feel like I've read something like it before. The final verse is the highlight for me, that seems quite personal and thought out.

thank you very much for your honesty i can see how the lyrics are very cliche and i seem to have a problem with writing songs that seem that way i suppose the only way it doesn't sound cliche is when the lyrics are added to the music it gives i different vibe (in my own opinion)

I like your story.The last verse though has more lines, has this been done on purpose?  It's unusual but with the right melody it will work

hi travis thanks for taking the time to have look, yh it has more lines on purpose well not really on purpose when i was writing the song it just happened so i didn't bother changing it
