Beautiful song paul....The earlier reference to musical icicles. is spot on....Really nice imagery in your writing, loved the way you used the piano....even your voice seemed to be at the right 'temperature'  ...Loved it

This is a great track

I think JAMES has got it pretty much spot on with the icicle / piano comparison

The vocal was stunning - although perhaps a little too "close", listening on headphones I could hear "lip smacking" - although to be fair the closeness to the mic may have been important to the "intimate" nature of the vocal

I love the "howling" in the background, which really helps set the scene of a wintery vista, which warms up with the section at 1.48, which is a great mirror of the lyric - followed by the storm

I'm a sucker for snow and ice imagery. Just my kind of writing. It's a very dramatic vocal delivery, it reminds me of Marillion. Very good production as well.
