wrote this a couple of months ago...about Amy Winehouse...can`t recall if i was satisfied with it or not?

Mate this is really nice, I might like to have a go at a melody for this when I get time, if thats ok with you. Great writing again STC, I think it helps to know who its about before reading it as you can instantly connect with the lyrics. Even without your introduction though, its clear who its about, cos the title tells us.

The lady messed up her life which was sad with all that talent and a promise of greater things if she could have sorted herself out.
I like your story, some good lines there not so sure about the through/blue rhyme, that aside you have the basis of a really good song.Well thought through!

Really nice lyrics, STC. Def tells the story clearly.
I was never the biggest fan of Winehouse, but she was amazingly talented and it is a shame that talent was wasted on drugs, alcohol and other bullshit. A lot of other past artists come to mind while reading it as well.
Interested to hear what it'll turn into when it's put to music!

I write on my hotmail account..and save to draft....i prefer this way....you can delete.cut/paste etc...but when i was deleting something..the whole lot went...not the 1st time it`s happened...and like you say ,,theres no undo for draft or return(that i know)

I write using the notes app on my phone, then send it to myself by email as a backup. This also means its in a text form that I can copy/paste etc.

Whatever happened to pen and paper?
