Hey guys! This is Sam here. I wrote another song a week back. This song is about Christian faith. Its an ecclesiastical song. I hope you like it and please give your comments and feedback.

“Glory to God”

Verse 1

Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord
Hosanna in the highest Heaven
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord
Hosanna in the highest Heaven

Refrain

Hosanna!
Hosanna!

Hosanna! To the son of David
Hosanna! To the son of David

Hosanna!
Hosanna!

Hosanna! To the son of David
Hosanna! To the son of David

Verse 2

I see your beautiful creations in the huge mountains
I see your beautiful creations in the peaceful rivers
I see your beautiful creations in the bright blue sky
I see you in everything

Refrain

Hosanna!
Hosanna!
Hosanna! To the son of David
Hosanna! To the son of David

References:

Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord (Mark-11:9)
Hosanna in the highest Heaven (Mark-11:10)
Hosanna to the son of David (Matt-21:9)

Well, I hate it. Most of that comes from my atheism though, so don't take that as comment against your songwriting.

See I'm not sure whether I should comment on this as I would a regular pop or rock song...
If I were to comment on it as such I would say that it's very repetitive and not excessively original, but then again that's not the point. This is a song of worship and a celebration of God and it seems to fulfill that purpose quite well.

This is a cross between prayer and a hymn...probably not to difficult to write another one like this...the book of psalms should be a good resource...

i like church quoirs ...so i can hear `hosana` ringing out ...but it`s a probably a bit to out there for most on here.

Yeah, I think I have made a mistake uploading this song here. I thought all kinds of people are here.
At least I came to know about this now. Thank you for your feedback  :)

All kinds of people are here..if you want feedback on your lyrics  you`ve had some.. if you want some praise from the brothers ,you need to post on Christian music sites.

Pretty much what he said. If you were expecting something different then perhaps you could have taken a look about and noticed the lack of gospel and church hymns here. We don't have anything against this sort of stuff, we just don't write it ourselves.

As a practicing Catholic I have got to say the guys on here are very open to ideas and wouldnt be rude for the sake of it

Everyone is entitled to their own views on religion and if you are atheist then great by me

So Chanson I dont think anyone is knocking the song simply because you are Christian

What I would say is that its not very original at all - 90% of it is already incorporated into hymns and the 10% you did write yourself is weak -

I see your beautiful creations in the huge mountains
I see your beautiful creations in the peaceful rivers
I see your beautiful creations in the bright blue sky
I see you in everything

Sorry but thats just my view but I am sure if you hang around and write something beautiful , even if it is faith based you will get all the cyber love and congratulations in the world!

Peace  ;)
