Do you think that a genre of music that you haven't heard for a while could do with a revival that could be successful? I personally love a bit of jazz and new jack swing, although I doubt that's gonna happen anytime soon. Anyone else?

I think most genres are still going strong. I was at the international jazz festival in Marciac just a few weeks ago. Great music and tonnes of people. This months soundonsound has a whole feature on a jazz producer. Certainly not a dead genre

Skiffle.....Watching my uncle and his mates having a whale of a time with a cheap guitar, tea-chest bass and washboard back in the late 50's, inspired me to take up music. I think it's one genre that's been overlooked and deserves revisiting. Still putting my chewing gum on the bedpost overnight and yes....it does lose its flavour
