omg what has happened to this forum it looks awful! like its got 2 bloody great tyres either side!
& that gravity drive advert looks so cheap & nasty it makes the forum look like a cheap newspaper
i go away for a couple months & you guys get the place in such a mess!!

There's no money in it for me. I'm promoting my friend's record because he's my mate, it's a really good record, and he's the best songwriter I know.

Putting it in the reviews forum was just a way of giving it the attention it deserves.

As for the forum being slimmer, it's something I've been meaning to do for ages, but never got round to it. Having a banner ad was the kick up the arse I needed.

I'm surprised that my promoting my friend's music has been so badly received. Isn't that why most of you are here - to talk about songwriting, and to promote/ share your music?

tone i am not saying anything bad about you or you promoting your friends music ok
im just saying it looks bloody awful ..in the gravity drive ad the letters are all so rough at the edges & look cheap & nasty & the huge black bands either side now look like when you upload a video to youtube the wrong size & they stick black bars on each side to fill up the missing space
its your forum you can have it how you like but to me it doesnt look good if you want a womans opinion
ive got a big wide screen maybe thats why it looks so bad

The slimline is much more to modern standards and suits iPad viewing more naturally without scaling. Win win. The wider look was just white space mostly before

well my hubbie bought me a super wide monitor & it looks like theres a pair of formula 1 tyres either side of the screen ...i am not intrested the slightest in motor racing!
