I thought the Freddie bit was a lovely touch and Queen + Jessie J would be one hell of a tour!!!!!

I also thought Kaiser Chief's version of Pinball Wizard was particularly good

Great night and fantastic showcase of British talent

I concur. I had no idea it was them till the close up camera shot.

But there were some very ropey vocals from a lot of the artists throughout.

And why did G Michael sing the first song then mime the second?!

I'm wondering if everyone mimed. Muse were definitely miming, and I heard from a reliable source in one of the band's camps that they were told to record a session then mime to it.

I can only think it was to keep the ceremony from running over time...

But what a joke if it's true.

think it was part live part pretend..
kaiser chiefs did a great job, really thought it was daltrey till i saw them appear and then noticed a difference in the guitar dept, the strum riff to pinball wizard was not quite the shilling, still good but not townsend..
waterloo sunset was good , could hear rays davis voice going but made it even more special..shame dave wasnt beside him..
beady eye were miming certainly with liam singing live over a backing track...?
the opening famous lady with piano player was singing live both times i would think...
russell brand doing walrus was a scary surprise but it was a great version even though he was prob miming but the band arrangment behind him was really terrific & uplifting...
freddy appearing was a wonderful buzz and beautifully staged, his vocal brings home the quality of the man, for me one of the best rock singers ever..
and when you think what the sound engineers and crew directors had to deal with it was a really magnificent show, a real achievement..
i may not believe this tomorrow...
