Which is the 2nd verse? Is there a chorus? Is one of those a bridge? I really am not sure whether this is a song or a free-verse poem, the structure is just a tad unclear. I'm sure it works well to whatever music you have in mind for it but that doesn't come across in type so it's a good idea to label the songs a bit.
I think it's alright. Nothing all that original I think but I wouldn't go so far as to say it's bad. The line 'Echoes in the canyons of time' is definitely standout, but its also standalone and I think you would do well to have more imagery surrounding it to create a really majestic idea of a longing for the past.
