Just lyrics on this one.  I have got a recorded version, but as I don't play guitar and the song wanted to be driven by an acoustic I played the guitar part on keyboard using a sample, so it sounds awful compared to the real thing!  Electric guitar you can sometimes get away with, but never an acoustic!

Anyway, to the lyrics:

As the World War 2 generation slips away
Into obscurity
The children of the 60s rise to take the reigns
As is their destiny

Dreams of the flower generation were the seeds
Passed down through the years.
Let Gaia inform them; the cold war has warned them
Of paths to avoid.

Your media whoring is terminally boring
We know the media; we see the message
You've nothing to say
Your politics bores us; your left and your right
And we are defeating you without a fight
In your theatre of war

You'll never fathom our motivations
Get out of the way of the now generation
Our time has arrived
You cannot be trusted trustees of the world
As the  21st century starts to unfurl
Our time has arrived

We carry the spark of the light of the world
Our destiny calls us. Our flag is unfurled
Spirit of the sixties

We are the spark of the light of the world
The world is our oyster and we are its pearl
Children of the 60s

it is interesting but to me its more of a poem than a song, would love to hear it being sung maybe that way i can understand the trick to your writing.

That's an interesting observation.  Lyrics that read like poems are generally written before the music - this was music first, as most of my songs are.  If I can solve the 'guitar' problem I'll post a version of this.
