It's great that you're getting the whole 'give and take' aspect of the forum and are reviewing other people's work but you are posting quite a large volume of songs in a very short time.

Don't flood the forum. Post one song per thread, and one song at a time. Don't expect members to listen to 5 new songs in a week. One song per week is a good benchmark. Posting too many review threads may lead to restricted posting privileges.

This place isn't exactly buzzing with activity is it? And I see very few posts with feedback that goes past one line, is that all people want "I like it" is it just an ego stroking validation exercise? Coz I dont need that, im just having fun and im playing by the rules within reason.

Tidy up your attitude or GTFO. We have forum guidelines, yes. They're based on respect for other members. You would do well to read them, and take notice of them. Believe it or not, they are there for a reason.

My forum is far from dead, and I think if you'd been here for longer than all of 5 minutes you would have noticed that we're a tight-knit group here, and we look after one another.

He had no reason to say any of the things he did, but I guess he can do what he wants.

If I bother everyone that much just delete all my threads and ban me, I was just here for fun and down time, I dont need validation and my ego stroking.

My feedback is some of the best here, not one line just for the sake of posting something tomeet the rules.

Hmm let me see... 1788 members and we don't like outsiders. No, of course not.

We love outsiders, and we welcome everyone. But we also ask for new members to read the guidelines and treat the forum (and its members) with respect.

I don't have time to go through all your threads, so what I'll say is this. Corsair is a good member who's contributed a lot to this forum. I can't see that he's the kind to take exception to someone for no reason. If you can point me to evidence that this is the case, then by all means do so.

I have no desire to fall out with you, or to ask you to leave my forum. But I will ask you to treat all the members with respect even when you disagree with them. In fact, especially when you disagree with them.

I'm not big on censorship, and I believe people should be allowed to resolve their own conflicts. We're all adults here.

But I do take exception to someone coming onto my forum and bad-mouthing it. I worked hard to create this community, and I'm going to stick up for it when it comes under attack.

But I'm happy to put this behind me, and welcome you to the forum. It's an open place, and we get along great most of the time. In fact, we've only had moderators for just under a month; prior to that, we didn't need any.

If you feel a member is being rude or disrespectful to you, hit the report button. Let me or one of the crack-team of mods step in. Writing angry posts just makes you look bad.
