Firstly, I have no problem with you and frankly I'm chuffed to finally have a rap writer who looks like they'll be sticking around, we need the variety. I just found that song a bit too... (aggressive? in your face?) Can't think of a suitable term... I think the idea of pick-me-up songs is a great one and, like I said, we all need them. I just felt that song was a tad extreme. Basically, it wouldn't pick me up, but I'm not everyone. We should also probably continue this discussion in that song's thread.
'Removed from doubt
Not proud
Just to rise above the screams
I am prepared for you
But are you prepared for me?'
The point of that bit is to literally ask a question. The song (so far) is about how far removed from standard societal thinking one has to be in order to find themselves in the mindset for all-out change with the intention of solving huge issues like Global Warming, Failing Capitalism, War, and so on. The point is that the 'character' is asking that question to society in general to encourage people to really examine themselves to see if they are actually prepared for the changes a lot of them advocate.
The 'Extended Chorus' basically means I'll add that on to the pre-existing chorus lyrics come the second chorus.
To be a bit clearer, I've been working on this since March but I have been working on other songs too in that time. I wrote Disparity in that time (I never got round to posting the final version of that...) and have spent a lot of time working on the musical side of things with my band.
