Hi all ... i dusted off my acoustic guitar to try and give this one a bit of a rockish/bluesy feel ... not sure if i succeeded ... let me know what you think ... hear it going in a different direction? love to hear your thoughts!

murderin all my love

you can't defend that mistake
that was yours and yours to make
i saw you, i saw my blood
couldn't believe you were the one
murderin all my love

i spent days tryin to recover
tryin to stay
never knew you had that gun
couldn't believe you were the one
murderin all my love

i'm not sure why i missed it
i don't know where i lost my head
turned one too many times
and my heart was beatin dead
there's no shockin, no CPR
that can bring this back to life
it's over baby, dig the hole and bury me tonight

i am gone
i am nothin without love
so let's say that you won
can't undo what's done
murderin all my love

Hi Garner

I REALLY like your vocal on this one

The guitar playing is not doing you justice here, and the guitar is slightly out of tune but your vocal carries the song along

I would say that the best thing you could would be to join or assemble a band to really bring these songs to life

An hour or so with a band arranging a song like this would produce an absolutely OUTSTANDING sound with your vocal on top

I am sat here very happily listening to your brilliant singing , it sounds bang tidy !! it's great ...
but with a full band behind it it would be EPIC  :o
Good musicians are fairly easy to find , but good singers........not so.

you're quality Garner  ;D

I concur with everyone else :)

Your vocals are brilliant and a band backing you is the option that jumps out.
The guitar is out of tune and not very good   :D But your songs and vocals are well worthy
of some good backing.  ;D

Great lyrics, great vocals! Would indeed work very well with a full band.
I can hear the drums kick in as well, after the break between the first two verses.
TBH, the guitar isn't as bad as I expected after reading the other comments, but yes, it is slightly out of tune.

You're voice is just totally amazing!

Hi garner

You have an incredible voice  :o.  I think your songwriting is good too, you really need to work with a producer/band, you need people who are equal/better than you - a hard task!

what do you use to record your songs?
Tell me Im wonderful & I ll be nice to you :)

That would be AWESOME! Right now I use free software (Audacity) ... And a Yeti usb mic ... Boydie offered to give me some help (which I happily accepted) and I will be happy to accept any other help ... Like I told Boydie .... I've been working on my stuff alone for so long ... Having someone/other artists work with me that can make things sound better is a dream come true!  I'm game!

Great minds think alike TINA   :D

I am "between songs" at the moment having finished my first batch of 3 so I PM'd GARNER earlier to offer some help putting her song together into a sequencer and trying out a few different versions/ideas/concepts

I now have the files and info I need from GARNER and should have some time tonight to have a play

I will try out a few different ideas and post the results back to GARNER

I will also work up a basic version for people to add their parts to as it seems GARNER is up for this as well

I would be happy to "host" this party to control the versions etc.
