A sort of a Norah Jones type song.....might need looking at some more..but i can`t be bothered at the moment...best to write and go back later,start something new...

I like this. The imagery and language are very "Norah Jones", and I can hear a dusky vocal crooning this one out

Just a few things though...what's the meaning behind the "Copper Coated Heart"? I thought maybe it was something to do with electical conduction (copper wires, etc) and you make a reference to electricity flowing "through me". Is that right? If so it could maybe be expanded upon 'cos it seems a bit bolted on to the ocean/sea lyrics

Also the double spacing between each line made my eyes bleed

This was my favourite part. You paint the scene whilst tying it to the ocean theme you've got going on. Clever!

Well Peter..the lyric "copper coated heart" sort of flashed in my head, so i thought about the properties of copper, as a conductor of heat, electricity etc....i plan to re-write it...and  spend a bit more time..making it sound more sense......

I do have the habit of "filling" songs with , on the face of it...profound ,poetic sounding verse,that may not stand up to scrutiny...??
