This song is about losing someone you love... slowly
it's not a song of hope but more a respect to the painful journey
not a song to rejoice but i hope you review and enjoy

Pale White Ghost

Can you see the raindrops dropping
please try to catch them if you can
Where has it gone, youth has been stolen
don't fade away on me, my best friend

Lost treasures and vampires
books of old
never seen such a beautiful
pale white ghost

All beautiful things, they eventually decay
friendships or mountains tickling the clouds
I never thought I'd lose someone I love
sudden or forgotten in time, It's just wrong

Lost treasures and vampires
books of old
never seen such a beautiful
pale white ghost

We promised that we would beat this
medical translation lead us into false hope
sit up and eat your supper, so I can tell you
no matter what happens, I'm not going anywhere

Lost treasures and vampires
books of old
never seen such a beautiful
pale white ghost

I like this because it has a slightly distorted view on reality, its like you created another world in the darkest shade of black in your head, and this is how it came out, the emotion is raw, I can literally see you in a hospital sat next to someone and caring for them, I can almost feel myself being there instead of you, if you know what I mean?
Raw, powerful, emotional, comforting.
Thats your song
What if we both just smiled at once?

What Sellon said, only less poetic :P

I agree with the idea that you created an 'alternate world' based on an off-center view, like turning the camera a few degrees until it catches less light. I was struggling to find a way to put into words what I was thinking there, so cheers for your response Sellon :D

Good stuff as always Soul Punk

Thanks guys

I really don't write songs with an intention on 'how to write them'
just a subject and observation, I'm glad I'm gradually improving

keep up the good work guys
