hi folks, here is my entry for the short song comp, try and stay awake..

http://soundcloud.com/nooms-1/yours-truly/s-LK5Wf

yours truly

theres a thorn in your side and i think i know who,
try hard to shift but you never can do
sometimes its an itch, sometimes its an ache,
but i suspect that its really yours truly

oh your mighty fine,
your mighty fine,
you can be my conspirator

in this funny old world you need an excuse
and i think you can call it yours truly
i may not believe this tomorrow...

Love the feel of this, especially when the harmonies come in. Nicely done  8)

Hiya nooms,

This is quite beautiful.  It's a strong entry for the short song competition.

Well done!

Hey nooms!
Cracking little tune you got there :) i listened a whole bunch of times because as you know i love vocal harmonies.. and man you do them so well. when they first came in they were good, but that last little verse was great!
I also really like your voice and vocal delivery, its not trying to be something its not, if you know what i mean. It sounds powerful without sounding strained.

The only negative i could say for this would be that the vocals in the beginning sounded a bit too loud compared to the music.. But hey, its probably just my speakers, sounded fine in headphones:)

Well done nooms!

Yep Dankepig is right about that last part.
The way this builds is really fantastic. Small to big, stop. Brilliant  ;D
And those harmonies are great!

The tune is very sleepy and didn't particularly grab me. But the vocal, harmonies and lyrics are all very lovely. So a thumbs up over all :-)

I'm sorry to admit this... but I'm a little lost in translation, what is this song about? About being there for someone, or about taking the blame for the loved one problems?

Now the light is dimming, but we're glowing from within. We are shiny.
