I'm aware we are songwriters but I enjoy the odd rebellious poem writing
I hope you review this and appreciate my subtlety
not giving you a big emotional jargon to advertise for reviews

Irony, it makes you laugh and tap your feet

Hiya

To me mate, all lyrics are poetry until I hear them to music, which is why
I often don't review lyrics. I find it too hard to see if a lyric is good until it's to music.
But having said that, sometimes a lyric does catch my eye, even though I can't imagine how it
would be to music, and this is one.
I probably won't even be able to tell you why I like it, but I do
The lines about giving monay to the guy busking kinda hurt a little bit because I always do that haha
I see a fellow musician and all I can do to show my support for a fellow musician is chuck some money in his hat 
But I'm not complaining about that lyric, so don't think I am haha I like it
I like stuff that makes you a little uncomfortable

Usually when I read lyrics, They're just words to me. But I can hear the music in this, even though its a poem. Its amazing, I love it. Very wise, pulls on the heart-strings a bit.

I agree it has song potential, but it's something I wont rush into as it would be a 'bugger' to sing properly
