World premiere of "Koinonia"
Acomposed for 400 singers in 6 choirs from different cultural backgrounds: western european, eastern european, indian, arabic, chinese, afro-caribbean, (including Birmingham town hall gospel choir, black voices, city of birmingham choir, sanchita pal, National Polish folklore choir) as well as three percussion ensembles from different cultures.
The piece is based on phrases in 6 languages based the theme of unity
