So I had some drone footage and wanted to write music for it quickly. So, how do you get something with reasonable quality within a few hours? In my case, by firing up EZKeys 2, choosing pre-made grooves, and not tweaking them at all. Just get them in the right order, then compose some strings on top. The guitar solo was the most original part, and IMO worked pretty well.
Whether it's cheating or just taking a short-cut ... well, you can decide. For me, it was just a method of getting some music for the video without using some stock stuff.
