Another new one from us.  Lonely Mile, started as a slower acoustic track but built into this, rockier version.

I like the energy
And each part of the song is very different but complements the others.
I generally prefer music from a band. 😆
 I don't think I could handle being in  one
But never say never.

Cool track @PeteS Like that pounding drum beat and the oh-way-oh backing vocals. Some nice edgy guitar too that really kicks ass. There’s a great lift when all the guitars and bass kick in on the chorus and you’ve given the vocals some welly. Nice stuff Pete 😀

@PeteS - Nice to be able to listen to your work again. I can hear some real differences in your sound since WTWP...less processed guitar, tighter yet more open drums, more space. The vox are delivered with feeling, is there an album on the way?

It works well especially the chuggy rock guitar in the break, give a contrast.

As for the mix, I couldn't say with the crap headphones, it's making the whole thing sound one dimensional, which I'm sure it isn't, I'll try to catch another listen later in the week.

@cowparsleyman Thanks Rich, appreciate your comments, I hope it sounds better when you listen on decent headphones, please let me know if it doesn't.  There is an album on the way but I've just fely a little creatively challenged!  I have lots of tracks but only about 8 that are what I consider good enough for an album and this is the third or fourth that has been on here and they've all been generally well received.  Writing more songs or converting some of the ones I'm not sure about into album ready songs is currently proving a problem.  But I'll polish the 8 and hope I feel more inspired at that point!

Sorry I can't explain in detail why but I really really like the vibe of this track. It is tight, the sound fits the lyrics perfectly and vice versa. It is the kind you do listen to while doing air guitar and fake singing through the house with the speakers in full volume.
