The title says it all!

For the last while I've not felt strongly enough about anything to articulate it in lyric form,so the music machine rolls on clanking and clattering without the vocals.

Maybe someday it'll attract words,or perhaps just stay as it is,another inconsequential guitar noodle.

I’d not add words to that.  It’s good enough to stand alone as an instrumental; lovely melodic guitar work.  I enjoyed it.

Cheers - John.

nice harmonics in that guitar playing
A really enjoyable track throughout

It's good enough as a stand alone instrumental
If words come, so be it
If not hop along to the next piece
You're doing so well!
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

And there you have it.

Yeah, you've got some moves on the fretboard, for sure. On the first half, I found myself singing my own melody on that - it's well ripe for vocals if you decided to take that route, but does stand well on it's own of course.

It's a lovely piece of music Davy @Skub and works really well as an instrumental. I love those really low guitar notes. Great atmosphere. Sometimes lyrics are meant not to come so you're doing just right going with the flow  :)

@Skub  Really like this: it feels like an overture. Some fantastic guitars and overall a great production. Works VERY well as an instrumental, could hear this being played as you come on stage for the big gig :)

It has a really atmospheric feel in places, probably the strong low notes.  I think a melody over the top of it would be great but as others have said, it's strong on it's own.

Sounds finished to me. Now, if you could get connected with the proper music supervisor, maybe you could get a sync license!! It would be great in some TV show or video or something.

Hi @Skub

A thoroughly engaging instrumental with a very effective bait and hook style use of silence. The guitars range in tone through the song and really help a sense of progression and you have a very tactile way of using them to change the mood and depth of a piece, always with melody in mind.

Top work. I can imagine a lyric being here but honestly I think it works very well as an instrumental. When you have something you want to say - the words will come.  :)

All the best,

CCB

Aww what?!! This is crying out for a vocal. The instrumentation here is superb, as is the production. And the guitars..well, what can I say? Work in progress and I look forward to the finished article. :)
