I thought the guitar intro was good enough to be developed into a solo piece and I initially thought that is where it was going.  What a wonderful surprise, when the song exploded.  I love everything about this, the beat, the melody, those lovely vocals and the airy natural mix ( though I would like the male vocal to be pulled a bit more forward at times).  Just two things:

1. Can we have lyrics please.
2. I can’t get to your artist page from the link, only to the song.

Cheers - John.

Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Upon
My daily wage
My days, days, days
A thorn in my life

Giving out my daily pay
Ooze all of my daily bray

Days days days
New start, so tough
Not hard enough
I’m sorry, yeah

Even I couldn’t see what’s right
I’ll need you one
One day

[Pre-Chorus]
Yeah
Oh no
Oh no

[Chorus 1]
No weapon!
No weapon!
Away I’ll go (My, myyy)
The lights won’t a change a thing, no
Things won’t the grow the way, no
The way I’ll ever see, no

[Verse 2]
Even if I can see the doors
Even I can harbor sickness!
Even I can see the floor
Get this feeling there's no ways out

Knowing all of my doubts
Thinking time's up, I need it!
All my days up, my might
Won't you ever lose my….

[Pre-Chorus]
And no!
And no!
And no!

[Chorus 2]
No weapon!
No weapon!

But lately I’ll go (My, myyy)
The lights won’t a change a thing, no
Things won’t the grow the way, no (My, myyy)
The way I’ll ever see, no

[Outro]
One day
One day
One day
One day

That's a cool track @cosmopolitan171 I like your picking and very good acoustic sound. I'm getting a strong British indie vibe from the 90's but with a modern twist. I really enjoyed the listen  :)

I'd agree with you, there certainly is a british indie vibe to the song.
I was somehow waiting for more instruments and I still think there should be something more to it than just drums, bass and guitar but on the other hand it has something special because of the stirpped down arrangment.
Nice work!

Mate this sounds great! Love the vocals particularly but awesome guitar-work too.

Drums really pull back what could be an awesome piece in my opinion. Think for my taste the softer drums that occur about 2:00 and 3:20 would be the better throughout the majority. The crushing symbols in the loop take too much attention away from the guitar and vocals which are the real highlight.

Hope to hear more!

I too was expecting a guitar piece when I heard the intro but it develops into a really cool song. Great vocals and I especially like the drum sound, though the kit maybe a little high in the mix. I was going to say it needs a bass then it came in right at the end which is a bit strange. Really cool song though. I enjoyed it. :)

The drums and vocals were amazing and it's a great song, but that lack of bass was very odd!
