You're All Heroes

(1/1)

Peppermint:
I wrote this one about 10 years ago before I ended up with bad writers block  and never got around to finishing it.
It's about remembering our countries soldiers during times of conflict and previous wars.

I feel these lyrics could be universal and are written in a way that they could be talking about a soldier/s from any country no matter where you are from.

I decided to give the a chior feel as though it was being sung in a church.

HEROES

You fort for the land,
On which we stand.
From gun blazing battles.
To crossing sands.

You're all heroes to me,
All heroes to me
And our land,

And as,
The years they go by,
Your names will hold pride,
They will hold pride.

I think that was quite well written. With that choir it got a litte bit of a Pie Jesu feel to it. Also the lyrics are well balanced on to the point. Whats your plans with it?

Peppermint:
Hello Busker,

I would like to get around to finishing it off but it's been sitting around d for so long I'm not sure I have the energy to complete it at the moment.
Nut who knows I might get around to completing it this year.

And thank you I'm glad you like the lyrics 😊
