I'm a habitual reader but in a typically blokey way tend to like to read factual, instructional books.  I'm big into photography as well as music and tend to read a lot of instructional photography books.

Have recently read a couple of books on songwriting by Dave Stewart which I enjoyed too.

Well put that Tone   Being a bloke  I also used to read fact only. It's amazing how many songwriters don't value the

art of writing a fictional book, and that amazes me. So many see fiction as a waste of time when you could be learning something real.

I think quite the opposite myself. These's a world of material to be imbibed by allowing yourself to be taken into the fantasies

of someone else. Every story is a trip and the benefit it can have in refining the quality of language that you are able to manipulate

becomes more evident the more you read.
