I wanted to touch your taste and see your smell
But all I heard then was silent wedding bells
Echoing through blue woods dripping down deep wells
You were a dollar rainbow

A rainbow and a rope round my hazy head
A devil and angle in a creaking bed
Sleepwalking dreaming and blowing the sky dead
All the smithereens are mine
Mine is everything your eyes can not behold
Mine is all the youth left over from the old
Whoever rambled that stuff I was never told
It might be a jigalo

A jigalo my dear that's what I am still
But today I'm the man to pick up the bill
As you are lowed slowly inside that hill
I've twilight blues and tears
