Hey, I realised it is coming up 5 months since the last challenge on here ("22").  Time for one for the summer?
Are we doing the foreign language one?
I also had another idea, in parallel to or after the foreign language one... in the continued interests of getting the buzz back here... what about a 'random collaboration' comp?
I.e. if you want to take part, you put your name forward, and at the next Zoom whenever @Sterix  or @pompeyjazz  calls it, we randomly pick couples who then have to go off and collaborate on something (anything) together.  2 or 3 months to hand in your joint homework.  I thought it could be fascinating and bring us all some great influences...  It could be anything from a full blown co-recording to one person contributing just some lyrics or ideas that the other then runs with.  There are some pairings I'd totally love to hear... @SlavaB + @CaliaMoko ... @crystalsuzy + @LostBoy ... @cowparsleyman + @rightly ... they all couldn't fail to be awesome...
Thoughts? Anyone wanna put their car keys in the bowl for this?

The last time I entered a swingers competition I ended up with someone who "claimed" they were a real woman but even the alcohol wasn't so sure! (just kidding there btw!).

I'm happy to run a spinny wheel of death (sorry, duet) thingamajig during the next Zoomy. I'll also put my hand in for a collab I suppose. I have my eye on a few people I'd love to work with but I promise not to cheat!

I've set a date for the next Zoom meeting/chat of Wednesday 29th June. We'll do the "drawing of the keys" then (where I hopefully get to say, "Oooo don't think much of yours @cowparsleyman!" - insert evil grin here).

Currently there are 9 victims (sorry, "volunteers") for the slaughterhouse. Hopefully some more will drop in before the draw. Would be especially good to have some of the newcomers to the forum get involved.
