And months since I've even picked up my guitar to seriously play.
I'm as uninspired as I've ever been.
I even got a new guitar, and that hasn't even sparked anything.

I have been there as well - for me I think it is just life that sometime gets between me and the songwriting. I had a big turnaround during Covid (working from home) when I got a wireless practice amp which made it so much easier & quicker to just grab the guitar and play a few riffs whenever I got a few minutes over.

You can tell by the activity on the forum that quite a few of us have just lost our “mojo” at the moment, and I think the Covid pandemic has turned many lives upside down

I am starting to see the early shoots of recovery, so hopefully everyone will be back writing, recording and reviewing soon......

Why don´t you go and pick it up right now? Strum a chord, hum a melody and put it back down again if you want. Then tomorrow do it again. It´ll take you all of ten seconds. You may spark something. As Boydie said, you´re not alone in this.

I am with you on this. I wrote a song three years ago when my Grand daughter was born. Previous to that had been a 4 year gap. I was hoping that one song would kick start me, but it didnt. I am trying again now but its daunting as I have changed computer so need to start from scratch. 

Baby steps I guess......
