See, that’s why you know it’s not the 1980s - two smiley faces on the album cover. In the old days smiling was definitely off limits.

I recognise a few of the tunes but will have a proper listen tomorrow once I remember my Spotify log in. 🙄

Hi again, well I’ve just listened to the whole thing and it’s balanced really well in terms of variety, hangs together like a well planned gig set.

There’s quite a bit of genre diversity there, what with dips into funk, reggae, pop and disco, and that’s just a start! But your sound as a band remains recognisable as ‘you’ throughout, no matter what the genre. That’s a strength.

I did like the unashamedly romantic numbers as so many songwriters (me for example  ) always seem to bring love down! There was a great optimism in this record and that’s just what we need right now.

Lovely singing throughout and great musical versatility. You should both be proud of this little gem. 👏

Great stuff mate. Love an album that really hangs together but that's also full of variety. Can hear a lot of work here.

Interesting that the new album should pop up on your release Radar @PeteS I guess it's the streaming services just doing their job. Also interesting as to how fickle the whole social media listening process is. Yo be honest , I couldn't give a sh*t as to who listens to our music, do it purely for the love, although it seems that some people do actually listen. I always try and support fellow forum members by listening to and commenting on their music, whether I like it or not.

Well I listened John and as always, I’m impressed.   You always produce great songs. 

I’m also really interested that it remembered from my previous listens.  I hope it works in reverse and some people will get my new album (3 months away at least) in their release radar.
