Apologies for being a bit out of circulation this past week or two.

Here’s a collaboration with Steve ‘Sketch’ Lundgren
He wrote the words, I wrote the music and sang it. We both played guitars and worked on the arrangement. It was done for a challenge on one of the other forums.

Title: With a Twist (for Chris Price)
Track Time: 00:00 Tempo: 00 BPM

INTRO

VERSE 1
All is lost, or is it?
What we don't have, we'll give it.
Whether to toss, or keep it?
Go backwards, or to the limit?

CHORUS
Up we go, for the second time.
Down, down; then turnaround
Give it a twist, then we'll be fine.
(instrumental turnaround - as recorded)

VERSE 2
Find my way, or lose it?
What I say, I don't mean it.
Am I serious, or winking?
Need to reverse - my thinking.

CHORUS (repeat)

VERSE 3 (the Twist- key change?)
All is not lost - when you find it.
Give what you have, and don't mind it.
Better to live - without it.
There's no way - around it.

BRIDGE (optional) Chorus chords lightly/building
Give it a twist - just like this
Hard to resist - just like this
Give it a twist - just like this
Hard to resist - just like this

VERSE 4 (optional/or as vs 3)
Smooth sailing - since I made up my mind.

Ahhh ! No Chubby Checker stuff then @ChrisPrice Loved the offbeat riffing on this one and great dual guitar work. This is really tight and rocks just like it should. You consistently produce some top quality work Chris and this one is no exception. Keep rocking  :)

Fantastic sound to this…drums, guitars bass and vocals are all right on the money.

As John says…always quality stuff from you and this delivers once again.

This is great
It has comedy in it
Something very cool and smart about it
Vocal delivery
And the short lalmost immediate yrics
Make this a very fine cut. 🙂
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

Don't eat the yellow snow

And there you have it.

Great song @ChrisPrice - as usual very well performed and produced... Catchy as hell..

The tambourine was the star (it's the little things) :) !!

Seriously though another quality track from you - haven't heard anything sub par from you here.

Hi Chris,

Great collaboration! This is so good. You guys really work well together. I love the lyrics and the rock'n style you've put them to  :)

I'm a little jealous of the excellent production skills some people have on this forum, and you're one of them  ::)

I totally enjoyed the listen, several times  :)
