Moving on I was thinking on tackling a pearl jam inspired track
Really digging deep in to the band, personnel, instrumentation and production
EV doesn't do a huge amount of BVs rather relying on his phenomenal voice and tone (a luxury I don't have) and the two almost bluesy noodling guitars left and right from Gossard and McCreedy (again a novice guitar player here) and then a big fat bass down the middle.
I also noted PJ often reversed the norm with a kick ass driving verse and dropping back for their choruses. I've tried to use similar lyrical themes.
This is probably more reminiscent of there Vitalogy or no code era tracks when the songs became a lot simpler, almost punk in some respects.
Even going as far to note their reluctance to shoot conventional videos so it is often made up of live performance footage
This is strangers

hi

I don't care much for grunge,
the finer point, I like the edginess & authenticity of Cobain but can't stand the foo fighters,
maybe similar to John Lydon and the Ramones.
given the choice between either the sex pistols and the Ramones, I'll have to go with Joe strummer, lol.

there's something creepy or grotesque about grunge,
where the classical red nosed clowns are trying too hard to be funny,
the choreographed pyjama rockers are trying too hard to be relatable but cool.

Jocks, masquerading as weirdos.

guitar feedback isn't supposed to be ear candy.

!!!But wait!!!

I have to say I've listened to this track now 6 times,
after the first listen I was surprised I liked it.
I had to listen again and yes, it is a good song.

the true passion it takes to get to this level of proficiency is undeniably commendable.

I really like the lyrics. I wonder if you step out and away from Grunge.

All the best, Rightly.
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

Don't eat the yellow snow

And there you have it.
