Just coming in for a bit of shameless self-promotion.

I took a hiatus from music making for a while but working with @cowparsleyman not-so-long ago really gave me some drive to get back into the 'rapping' side of my passion. I've never been that great with the music-side, or the singing side to be fair, but I feel comfortable rapping and after buying a few beats quickly found myself with a story album.

it upset me because I had to take it down from my social media due to people taking the lyrics too seriously and not understanding that music is artistic expression and the exploration of ideas - not necessarily a damning inditement of the writer.

Anyway, I know this genre isn't really what people are in to here, and I've been gone a while, but I wanted to share my album somewhere at least and this is always a safe & loving environment

I LOVE the Rapping you did for our Song, to me it's my favourite song of 2021. Very very clever and a pleasure to work with you.

Congrats on the album man. It's a real thrill getting a completed project up on streaming etc. I imagine a lot of work went in to this.

@jacksimmons Yeah it feels really good! I put lots of crap on soundcloud but to actually have set of songs that fit together, and all have reasonable recording quality, and on Spotify, feels great! I've linked a google doc on my initial thread now. They're super messy and some are missing but I'll update after work when I have access to my PC properly.

Hey @ScottLevi I don't love rap but I like good rap (preferably with a Rock base) i've just had a listen through and it's great, a slightly different take with the piano, don't hear that many piano rap songs.

Congrats on releasing it (I know it felt great when I saw my album released into the world) and I hope you get some traction.
