Matt Mayo (the Mullens)

Hello, I was delighted to see so many responses to my post on "Jennifer Jewel." I look forward to participating in this forum. I am a long way physically and culturally from the UK as I live in Houston, Texas (howdy y'all!)...I deal with some auto-immune illnesses that hold me back some, so I don't get online everyday, and I survived a stroke and anyuerism in 03/19, but I am trying to fight back and get into music again (after also having to habituate to Tinnitus, ugh!)

I have written songs since I was a teen in the 1980s. The primary band I was in was the Mullens who released four albums on Get Hip Records.

I have been working on my own for several years and am working to improve my recording technique (as an English Adjunct - I better learn, cause I cannot afford anything!!)

If you need any recording tips just post any questions in the RECORDING section of the forum and I am sure you will get a quick response from the knowledgeable and experience folk on the forum
