Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you are still in contact with Katie? She went by a few names on here and I think the most recent was GirlInside but I don't think she is active anymore.

Basically we back-and-forthed a little over the years about collabing on lyrics and I have recently written a song that uses her lyrics and would really like to get her thoughts/permission to go ahead with the track. I've tried contacting through her website but to no avail.

Can anyone help?

I was in touch with her like yourself have a couple of her lyrics which I have left aside for the time being she did some cover ideas for me when we were in touch but have not heard from her since she does to and fro a bit so she may return in the future.

Cheers guys. I haven't heard anything back. Gonna shelve the song for now and hope she's back to the forum. She is a bigger talent than she knows I think, her lyrics always touched me. Like you said Neil, hope she's doing ok.

I never did managed to contact Katie, so I stopped working on what I had written. Do feel it would be a shame to let it go entirely to waste though so I've wacked it on Soundcloud with a private link for anyone that's interested.

The lyrics are an amalgamation of a few lyrics Katie sent me and some she posted here. I hope Katie would approve.
