Dear all

I hope everyone is well and looking forward to a return to something resembling normal life in the near future.

They say never start with an apology – but, well, sorry, I’ve not been on the forum much at all in recent months. I intend to put that right. But for now, please let me say straightaway I am not trying “push” anything or ask anyone to buy anything, or even listen to anything.

However, I have had invaluable input and assistance from so many of you here over the years, I just wanted to let you know I have just released an album of 12 tracks – Diamond Years, which is available on all streaming services:

It is a follow up to my 2019 album Golden Years. There are a few tracks on the new album which have benefited from feedback on this very forum – Man at the Gig, Badge of Honour and Burn Burn Burn come to mind, so thank you to anyone who listened or commented on those!

I love making albums – making a complete product, with a beginning, middle and end, with artwork to match. I guess a lot of people of my vintage were weaned on albums rather than playlists. Talking of artwork, just as with Golden Years, the artwork was done by the genius who is Neil Ruddiforth of Rocket Five Design – highly recommended. Have a look at the mock up of the CD:

Best wishes to all.

Hi Bill, this looks like it’s been put together with a lot of care and attention. An artefact to be proud of.

‘Man at the Gig’ is one of my fave songs of the past year or so on here, so I’m sure you’ve got a lot of quality in there.

Good luck with it, and yes that designer looks very talented too. 👍
My latest novel: pls check it out!

‘Gavin & The Bodysnatchers’, a quirky comedy crime thriller. Easily found on Amazon.

It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.
