Here’s my latest offering. Another loud rocker. I keep saying I must get the 12-string out for the next one and write something a bit more subtle, but I’m having fun!

Bombshell bolt from the blue, dressed up to the teeth
I don’t need no imagination to know what’s underneath

She tell me, give me a white knuckle ride, I’m an easy girl to please
But I’m never ever satisfied till you right down there on your knees
I wannna shake sweet my ass to loudest band in town

and threw me to the floor

If you are having fun, keeping doing it. Especially when you are doing it so well.
I'm not the biggest heavy rock fan but I could see AC/DC tearing the roof off somewhere with a song like this.

Makes me think I should try doing some rockers, but it is so hard to get the energy in without a real live drummer. No such trouble here.
This sound live and loose and all the stuff it needs to.

Nice guitar solo too. Keeping rocking!

Great chugging rhythm section on display here!

Another blast of good and fashioned rock and roll...we won't die with our slippers on!

Just one thought...could the vocal be pulled back a tiny bit or made slightly wetter to fit the "pub rock" sound? Maybe the vocal was more "studio recording" and the backing "live band playing in the corner of the room" but so what...it's great!

Hi Chris, brilliant rendition of the genre, someone else mentioned AC/DC, I get that vibe too. Brilliant vocals all round, no issues for me this is brilliant (even though I'm not really an AC/DC type of listener )

@ChrisPrice  Wow, that woke me up! Great rocker that would be fantastic to hear live ( I seem to be saying that a lot recently, I wonder why?). Agree some shades of AC/DC, but with a rawer edge on this one: if this doesn't get them dancing, nothing will!

Guys, thanks so much for your encouraging words. Glad you enjoyed it. I don't mind the AC/DC comparison. I can't say that I had them in mind when I wrote and recorded this, but no-one does good-time rock n roll better than them so I'm happy! I'd love to play this song live though I'm not sure my that my old bones would stand a whole night at this pace! Let's see what happens post-covid.

Not sure about the AC/DC references mentioned, I get more of mid/late 70's vibes from this. No matter what, great stuff!
Spot on lead vox and the harmonies are stellar. A solid rocker in all aspects, my only nit would be the drums, a bit "roomy" and distant in the mix but on the other hand it kind of fits the overall vibe of the track. Extra bonus points for the guitars, me like! Great production, great everything actually!

Great song, good melody. Good singing. but I have the feeling that something (dont know what)  needs to be done in production. I don't know ...the guitars maybe? Bit far off? Someone else?

@ChrisPrice  yeah!!🤘 a good, honest rock track! I think the production is great, I really like the harmonies you’ve got in there - adds an almost country twang at times... southern American rock (Georgia Satellites?!)... nice one!👍

@Veance Guitars 'a bit far off'? Sorry I don't hear that. I think they're as in yer face as they can possibly be(!), but thanks for the listen
@Jambrains Thanks for the listen and kind words. Yeah, it is a 70's vibe, or it was meant to be. The drums are intentionally 'roomy' which works for me

I appreciate the comments guys. Everyone has their ideas about mixing..most seem to like this one as it is - one or two would change things. I'm happy with it so time to move on to the next one I think.
