[Sterix]

I've had a bit of a lull this year, struggling to come up with stuff. I'd worked a little on the lyrics for somebody else but my own stuff (the lyrics I write just for myself) had pretty much dried up.

I seem to have found some inspiration though (I wrote 5-6 songs last night, and a couple today. Including this one, just now.

It's a ballad. Think "Chicago" with simple piano and a lead guitar softly emerging after the second chorus. Yes, this does have a tune and, yes, the words DO fit the tune (I'm sure some of you will look at them and think those lines are too long but they're actually not).

Anyway, since it's a little quiet on this part of the forum (and I've been a little quiet myself) I thought I'd post this one.

I just wonder if the title should be simply be Goodbye, my Valentine?
