When I was 21, many years ago, I met and fell in love with a beautiful young woman. Because of distance things didn’t work out and we parted ways, she went on to become a successful lawyer and have a family while I frittered away my time playing in bars in Greece and getting drunk.
I still dream about her, very lucid dreams, she’s the Queen of forever.....

I’ve seen changes, changes in you
Like the sky changes, from darkness to blue.

I see the years passing with wide open eyes
And now I know the difference between truth and lies

The queen of forever

And still the stars shine to light up the evening sky
Reflections and memories that still make me cry

How many heartbreaks to learn right from wrong
I’ve spent a lifetime trying to write this song

The Queen of forever

I climbed the mountain never looking down
And there I saw you standing there  diamonds in your crown

The Queen of forever

Nice song mate! Lovely strings. Nice lyrics. An altogether pleasant listening experience. A song the lifetime in the making huh?😄
Good stuff!

Really, really nice strings!!
Overall very pleasant and well balanced mix.
Nice build in the intro but a tad too long for my taste.
Normally I would have asked for a little more variation and dynamics but for some reason that is not needed here, the song just meanders so nicely as is. Well done!

This song has a really "big" feel to it. Those excellent strings and vocals make that happen for me.

Good song all around and a quality production.

nice song
really like the into, it took away any expectation
some women are alright, yeah
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

Very gentle but passionate atmosphere - you can hear the yearning...
Something in me wanted a little more development in the chorus lyrics, it just felt a little naked. Not that I have any amazing suggestions. Maybe there's nothing more to say!

Beautiful and melodic song. Pleasure to listen to. Professional sound and lovely lyrics.
In my opinion, the song fades too quickly in the end.

Love the intro, great strings  (although would agree to shorten slightly) . The backing lays down a fantastic, almost yearning  vibe.

I think if you added more variation to the vocal melody you really lift this to be a classic. I would suggest experimenting to get a broader range with more range to see how it works

Cheers,

Kevin
