Hello another new live song for anyone who enjoys a ballad and with a folky Americana vibe.
Lyrics below :-)

I was born by the sea
I got an old soul in me
I find my own way
Through the scares of yesterday
Now I've much still to learn
But how many times must I get burned

To find my one true love
You come to me when I sleep
I saw your face in a vivid dream
Maybe someday we might still meet

You look a lot like her
You even sound like her too
But I've been living with these doubts
I gotta figure all this stuff out
And until that day should arise
I'll be wishing on a hopeful sign

To find my one true love
You come to me when I sleep
I saw your face in a vivid dream
Maybe someday we might still meet

I'm waiting here for you
I've been waiting all this time…

Hola @Muso1070

It's a very romantic song, very enjoyable listening. Love the atmosphere and the lyrics.

It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

What a lovely love-song! Nice little acoustic solo you had there in the 2nd chorus :)

Good stuff! A very warm and intimate sound from both vox and guitars. I would have liked a little more variation and dynamics e.g. in the second half you have that "guitar solo", I think you should do more of that, maybe not solo playing but at least having the guitars playing different patterns or in different positions or something to separate them. Maybe just during the chorus(es) to make it take of a little more? Just my personal opinion of course. Well done!

This is right up my street, understated but full of melody and passion, nice work and great vocals.

Hi, nice guitar tones and vocals ,very nicely done. I agree completely with @Jambrains about mixing it up little and getting more variation and making more use of the two guitars.
Nice one!

Cheers

Hey thanks, almost didn't add the solo in thinking it was a bit to much over vocal but happy I did now I think it seems to work ok. Cheers

Hi,
I like your voice and your emotionally charged interpretation. The melody is very melancholic and beautiful and well served by your voice, again.., a velvet grating voice ;)
Well done !

Lovely acoustic picked intro. Fine singing too. Love this kind of writung that immediately transpoets the listener, inviting his/her imagination to roam freely. Your song benefits tremendoysly from the limited instrument aporoach.

Really enjoyable.
