They are the biggest musical influence by far but I’ve never really studied them, but came across these backing tracks, without vocals or the fabs playing on them. Really interesting listening to George Martins beautiful orchestration.. volume 1 suggests more to follow :-)

Hi @Neil C i had a listen to these last night. Now I realise how handy it would be to have George Martin doing my backing tracks.  :D Lovely melody and so many subtle touches here and there. I also watched that fascinating deconstruction of ‘She Loves You’ that you have posted.  They were great technicians, The Beatles, for sure. I loved seeing that descending riff embellishment of George Harrison’s in the chorus. It’s well over 50 years old now, so are we allowed to copy that by now?  ;)
