Hi folks,

Hoping everyone safe and still having a lot of musical fun.
Im Currently working on a new album "I regret", and I thought it would be great what your thoughts please are on the main theme of that album?

https://soundcloud.com/slavab/slava-b-i-regret-mp3/s-gd4tI04O8dk

Lyrics :

And the day has come again
Looks like raining once again
But my life keep going on
Turned around - its thunderstorm

Im so glad we stuck in house
ONce again together
My blue eyes will warm your day
My soft hands will calm your fate

Chorus

Take a look
In My Eyes
Abbey my rules
In Russian Paradise

Sparks of love spread round around
And heart beat arised again
And the brain switched off again
My mind set has changed again

My brutal idea coming
MY agression overtaking
Im changing changing changing
THere no mirror to compare

Chorus

Take a look
In My Eyes
Abbey my rules
In Russian Paradise

All of those hard times
All of those good times
We went together
Like no one ever BUT

And like always my dark soul
Got End up this lovely show
How much more
And not much less
I regret again,again!
I Regret again!

My favorite part--rhyming "less" and "again". Brilliant. I love unexpected, surprising rhymes! Your phrasing is really unusual, which I attribute to English being a second language for you. And, I have to say, it really seems to suit this song. I am curious about the line "Abbey my rules". Is that meant to be "Obey my rules"?

It all sounds good to me; you do good work.

Hi @SlavaB

not my genre now a days but your song has more of a melody going on with some variations compared to many that I have listened to.. The instrumentation was tight with a nice sound and balance, vocals just right for the song.
Made for a good listen.
Cheers

Hi, great guitars, I have a guilty pleasure in liking some of Rammstein's stuff, and this takes me there! Nice drums too!

Cheers

Loved the guitars and the breakdown was really good.  Drums (especially cymbals) sound a bit too fake.  But I liked it.  Be interesting to hear you sing in your own language as well.

Hola @SlavaB

Nice to meet you!
I think the song that opens your album is very good, I love the choirs, the strength of that low voice... Scaring!!!
I really like your accent !!!
The arrangement and instrumentation are great and the lyrics, especially in these times, describe many similar thoughts and feelings ... even troubling

Stay safe
