Indie rock inspired by the likes of the strokes, arctic monkeys and blur. Fast paced and fun, a true story!
I like keeping my lyrics pretty simple whilst telling a narrative. Likely due to the amount of punk songs i write, if you like this song i reccomend looking at the rest of the EP.

You're standing there in your rocker dress
With a look that drives me crazy
You say to me 'boy you fancy a kiss'
'In the sun how your eyes shine'

I'll be yours, you'll be mine
And you'll sing and play guitar and look fine

Wasn't long ago that I were a skinny lad
And was too scared to talk to girls
But then you came and whispered my name
And for sure you rocked my world

And now im here and we're dancing in the street
With No care for passers by
Because were mad and forgot the dreams we had
After we drank too much wine

Now im hers, and she's mine
And she sings and play guitar and look fine
And in yours, and youre mine
And you sing and play guitar and look fine

(Break)

Now im hers, and she's mine
And she sings and play guitar and look fine
And in yours, and youre mine
And you sing and play guitar and look fine

Arrghh...I don't have Spotify...so I couldn't have a listen.

I suspect it'll be very good. Your stuff usually is.

Cool story. You say she sings and plays guitar...does she enjoy other people doing that ?

If not, personally, I'd dump her. Even if she's quite tidy. She might be a narcissist  :)

Very accurate description Dom, I can hear all those influences in there.   I love the light and shade, the break down at 1:53 followed by the crashing return is spot on.  It’s definitely my sort of stuff and I’m off to go through the rest!

I like it. The drone-y vocal quality is almost meditative while the beat and guitar keep me awake to enjoy it.

Cool song Don. It’s all about that mega riff. Got a good sound going on there. Sounds great on my headphones, nice and meaty. Sometimes all you need is a good riff and this song is a great example, enjoyed listening. Cheers Micky

Hi Seb,

Thanks for the link.

Hi Dom,

Cool song.
I like your vocal style - sort of Jarvis Cocker with a bit more bite.
Love the raw energy.

Great guitars - a hint of "Undertones" for me, always a classic sound. The unplugged break is super cool. I might have liked a huge chorus to finish, with lots of messy guitars and everything coming to together. But a great sounding track for sure.

Thanks for the lovely replies, i very much appreciate it!
Apologies, would usually remember to post the youtube link as everything i make also goes on there for free.
Yeah micky, I like to keep my riffs simple and effective and this is probably my best example my songs in general.
Thank you all,
Dom.
