We have just finished a new song "Edge Of A Shadow". Originally the melody and the lyrics were created for a danish song but we were asked if possible to create an international version.  Yes, we are back (where we belong) in the world inspired by progressive/symphonic Rock and especially our version of the sound from Gilmore & Waters and the early 70ties.

We are looking forward to having your constructive feedback

Lyrics:

1st Verse:
On the edge of a shadow
In the light that fades away
we hear a song from a sparrow
when the ferryman starts to play
He arrived without an invitation
and he will leave without a note
one by one he will check the tickets
when we enter his black-painted boat

Ch:
Be prepared and watch the time
don’t be late and clear your mind
find a shelter for the perfect storm
and catch your dream before
it's dead and gone

Life is an important gift from the Earth
we carry with us
all the way from birth
to the end of the day
when the sun burns out
the wind sweeps through the dust so far
and we get reborn and light up as a star.

2nd Verse:
We can see our kids
while they grow and they shine
they are ready to leave now
yes so perfect and fine
They will carry our worries
but they will manage and cope
just like us before them
with some flowers
some love and some hope

time will show
time will show them the way

enjoyed the listen. Think it could do with the use of a few single stroke power chords in places to build tension and break the rhythm. My attention spans ceases around max 4 mins so a bit long for me.
But nice sound, recorded and produced well.
Keep it up.

Hola @Krysoe

I love the introduction! It fills your head with images from scary stories
It has whipped me, I do not find defects in the mix and the arrangement is very well put together and as for the lyrics I love it, a real tale.
