Somehow missed this first time round but its a lovely melody & a wonderful sentiment/testament. The love shines through. Your great vocals always seem so effortless which is bloody annoying. .I`m in the "guitar sounds slightly off" brigade but maybe its like one of those drawings where some people see a penguin & others see a slug.
Loved Blackpool..have a craving every autumn to go back & see the illuminations again but I know my kids would be shocked how basic they are & tell me how crap the 1970`s must have been.  Liked the video too..good work @kafla .

Lovely swooshing atmosphere here - Ian McNabb meets Crowded House, and I really get the slightly tipsy vibe.

I've noticed you don't really do choruses -  maybe because you have so much to say it seems a waste to do repeats. Works really well here to just keep adding more details. The direct quotes from your mother are brilliant touches to really take us there.

Very listenable and produced a classic PaulAds anedote to boot. Fab stuff.
