Love the lyrics, had a good laugh and I must admit I could relate to a thing or two 
Some really great guitars in there but there are a few bass notes I found odd but I remember commenting about that in another of your songs so it is probably me being a bit conservative when it comes to that 
Lovely song, 60-ish to my ears and production fits well with it, but as i said, the star of the show is the lyrics.

FWIW - I thought the word "quieter" seemed kinda shoe-horned in but Canadians have long ago dispensed with the Queen's English so ignore that remark at your pleasure.
