Love the lyrics, had a good laugh and I must admit I could relate to a thing or two  8)
Some really great guitars in there but there are a few bass notes I found odd but I remember commenting about that in another of your songs so it is probably me being a bit conservative when it comes to that  :)
Lovely song, 60-ish to my ears and production fits well with it, but as i said, the star of the show is the lyrics.
Well done!

Definitely smiling as I listen. I love what you do @MichaelA ......and this one is a classic. Love the lyrics and the guitar but, really, the whole package fits together perfectly.

Your vocal presentation is absolutely perfect for the feel of the song.

Just a completely enjoyable listen start to finish.

Congratulations, a wonderful portrait of a couple and patience ... A journey full of humor and affection that has put me in a very good mood.
The arrangement is great and the production is great.
Congratulations, I love this style @MichaelA

Thanks for these last comments folk...

@Jambrains, glad you were suitably amused. Yeah, my bass playing can be a bit odd. I wish I didn’t have to bother with all this dull low frequency stuff  ;)

Hi there @Unclenny and @moraamarolaloba , glad you both enjoyed the listen. Thanks for the kind words.

Hi Michael,
I read the lyrics first and laughed out loud. You really are the master of witty songwriting. The lyrics are just to die for perfectly matched by the jaunty instrumentation. What a wonderful breath of fresh air.

Haha!! Well this made me chuckle mate! You really nailed the lyrics, I love how brutal she is!!! 🤣 great idea with the whole "quieter" angle. I certainly have known couples with this dynamic. Great stuff buddy!🎶🙌🏻🎶😁

Hi Michael
Solid work here as usual with your stuff.
Great concept/lyric as others have said.
I love the happy-go-lucky attitude this guy exudes under the circumstances :D
FWIW - I thought the word "quieter" seemed kinda shoe-horned in but Canadians have long ago dispensed with the Queen's English so ignore that remark at your pleasure. :D

Lovely song!
