I've noticed from posts that there are some forum members that don't know much about mixing and production in DAW's...

I would be very happy to explain, in simple terms, a few generic concepts in a Zoom Call using my DAW, (it wouldn't matter that I'm using a different DAW to you) would this be of any interest to anyone?

I thought the first thing would be to explain the signal flow through a mixer channel, what an aux buss is, and when to use them, and the role of a master buss.

Please let me know if you are interested.

I would be interested, I think. I'm a little concerned I would be out of my depth but I could give it a try. If it works with my schedule--which one would think would be mostly wide open but, not always....

OK, I’ll arrnage something, it probably won’t be on Friday night as that’s already reserved for John and his chat night, some attendees might not need the demo so If you send a day of the week that suits you I might be able to satisfy most folks who are interested

For me, the most difficult days would be Fridays through Sundays. Mondays through Thursdays are chaotic and up for grabs but usually workable.

Hey @cowparsleyman - I'll keep an eye out for when you organise this.. I'd be interested.... Might finally force me to get on that bus that JB keeps telling me about !!  I have hols and stuff coming up though so I won't through my availability into the mix... but will join if I can..

@pompeyjazz - the blinkin audio just didn’t work right, cpd was ona zoom chat and my laptop was doing one of those Mahoosive updates...had no chance...

Im planning the live demo, it’ll be the week after next probably...looking forward to doing it.
