This is other song of mine that I have written and produced and I am asking the group, is it commercially ready to be pitch for an artist consideration?. If not any suggestions. (This is a demo) as always i need to hear the truth.

Hi Irwin,
Well I like the hook, it is catchy and it’s a sweet lyric, she sings it well. This is the best song I’ve heard from you....However....U want honesty and Im sorry but I just feel the chords didn’t support the vocal melody, to me it sounded a bit like two different songs being mashed together. Sorry mate, this is just my opinion. I don’t mean to discourage you, it’s just that these days they say that if you want to pitch a song it has to be as close to the finished product as possible. I hope this helps mate, keep writing!😄🎶👊🏻🎶

I can hear different things in this music. It's actually quite distinctive.

On the one hand, the song seems like a sweet ray of sunshine, very bright and bubbly. Happy friends, happy lovers, a happy home with happy children soon to come. The synth production is reminiscent (at least to me) of 80s pop music. The bass line gives the track a feelgood reggae lift.

However, I also find the production quite sparse. I am not saying this is in any way a bad thing. I find it actually makes the song sound slightly haunting. The lyrics seem to be repeated quite often. It sounds almost like a mantra.

I am not sure if this is the effect you were trying for. I do hope you are not disheartened by my interpretation. This is actually one of the more interesting songs I've heard in a while. A great accomplishment.

PS

I would like to suggest that you write the lyrics in the 'Description' text box. Having said that, the vocalist sings so clearly that you can hear every word, but maybe just something to keep in mind for next time.
