Hu guys, when you mentioned this on Friday I didn't hear this! Brilliant, a touch of vintage Squeeze ;). Don't know how you managed to knit the vocals together, I can't even sing with myself :P. Nice interview technique to PJ 8).

Nice one!

Cheers

Jamie

Yep very assured interview performance @pompeyjazz, you took it all in your stride with ease. Here's to many more interviews to come!

And ta Jamie, yes agree it's always fascinating to finally hear a song that's been mentioned on Friday Zoom. Squeeze, great lyricists, so don't mind that reference at all.

@MichaelA @PaulAds @pompeyjazz

Congratulations guys !!! You have put me in a good mood and I thank you very much i my confinement,I went out a couple of days but seeing that many do not wear the mask I do not go out, I have a very delicate health and I am convinced that I would not resist the attack of the invisible monster that is why I enjoy moments like this a lot.
I love the lyrics, this line "BigMac bloodbath" is magnificent because it is true.

Thanks @Melusine2 for all the listens.  ;D There are more bands in the U.K. though that don't feature @pompeyjazz. Not many, as he is everywhere! But you check them out too  :)

@MonnoDB, ta for the comments. I'm jealous John got the interview. But I expect TV will be calling me and Paul any time soon, so no real worries.

Thanks too @Jambrains, @moraamarolaloba and @Jamie. All you can hope for with a song like this is that it provides a bit of fun for some folk. So very pleased you enjoyed it.

This is great!!!

It has a serious theatrical feel to it........I want to see it on a stage with dancers!!

Ha ha @Unclenny, if Paul, John and me had to be the dancers, well you wouldn't want to see it, believe me!   :D Nice thought though!

Thanks too @Sebandme. I thought you were too artistic for a BigMac, so there you go! 😀

I thought the three-way vocal worked very well. And I really saw my self in the lyrics :p  Funny, clever and good sounding song! Well done lads :)

Ha ha @adamfarr! You obviously have fallen victim to the subliminal earworm widget that we discretely embedded into the song. That chorus will be with you now forever unless you pay the unlock key ransom!  ;D

Thanks also to you @andreas for the listen, much appreciated.

Great feedback...thanks everyone!

I came across the lyrics I'd originally scribbled in the songs embryonic  stages...but Michael had a much better idea that involved all three of us...and he wrote a great set of lyrics to go with that idea...so we didn't need these...I thought I'd put them here as a post-script and an example of how well it can work when you chuck your own stuff in the bin when something better comes along.
