You may have heard that this Friday, Juneteenth (June 19), Bandcamp will be donating their share of every sale on their site, to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
In light of this generous move, and in solidarity with this action, my band, Hop On Pop, will also be donating all the money we make from our Bandcamp sales to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, as well.
It's a good cause. It's a righteous cause. And Juneteenth is the perfect symbolic day to make good on our promise to be an ally.
I hope that you find a way to purchase something on the 19th, whether it's one of our albums or somebody else's.
