Hi peeps, a song expressing appreciating for help from another...

https://soundcloud.com/knmac/i-owe-it-all-to-you-by-knmac

I found my way,
I owe it all to you,
I always obey,
I have no point of view,
you take me by the hand,
and guide me through the wind,
I live by your command,
I feel your soul within,

I owe it all to you
your aim is true,
you know just what to do,
I owe it all to you,
you guide me through,
when I don't have a clue.

dead of the night,
your wake is shining bright,
leading me on,
your way is never wrong,

I owe it all to you
your aim is true,
you know just what to do,
I owe it all to you,
you guide me through,
when I don't have a clue.

you thrill me with your sigh,
you make me fly,
your fantasy is nigh,
I will comply,

I owe it all to you
your aim is true,
you know just what to do,
I owe it all to you,
you guide me through,
when I don't have a clue.©KNmac

Hi Kev, another radio ready American AOR track. Great production as usual. Liked the vibrato pad thingy, it sounded great and right at the outro I got a flavour of ABBA. Great vocals Kev!

Cheers

This is a beautiful song of devotion. Your voice is just right for a soaring production like this. I love how the song builds and the ebb and flow of the production dynamics.

I will say that this lyric caught my attention:

I always obey,
I have no point of view,

Loved the lofi drum sounds you used Kev. A bit different from you, loads of intensity,  great atmospherics. Beautifully melodic as always. Another @shadowfax monster. I won't mention ABBA, whoops sorry, I did

Dripping with emotion.. produced to such a high level, as usual.. the melody is captivating.. and that build is perfect.. Lovely @shadowfax .. as an aside - I love that the sound you get out of that acoustic guitar..

Great vocal!

Super production...I thought the bass was really tasty here. And that acoustic guitar tinkling away in the background is particularly nice too.

Great vocals and lovely heartfelt lyrics. I really thought the production and arrangement was 1st class and loved the way the song builds up to the terrific chorus.I also really liked the ending as well.

really nice atmospheric tune. I really like the distant drum sound that’s sort of modern and retro at the same time. I do understand the ABBA ref. To be honest if someone said a track of mine reminded them of ABBA I would probably explode with happiness. They are the greatest band of all time imho.

I like the sentiment of the lyrics. You have a way of crafting an atmospheric track and the lyrics certainly help in this regard. I would say I’d like something a little more personal and specific though. The words are enigmatic but I don’t get YOU shining through. But having said that they match the tone of the song.

Another quality track with gorgeous production.

Hi Kevin,

Ahhh! the maestro's touch. "Climb aboard and let me show you how easy I can make greatness sound"
As others have said, it's lovely thing. Interesting sound palette, everything in it's place, soaring vocal and that lovely strummed acoustic sitting just right in the mix. Another blinder from you and another SOTM contender. Do you have any space left in your trophy cabinet?

Great build on this one. Lovely harmonies (for example around 1'05").
Really like the different stages that the percussion went through too, including the breakdown.

The rhyme scheme is ambitious and I bet not easy to stick to.

It's a cool song!
